Hello friends!  Hope your holiday was fantastic.  I spent the day with my sister and her family, made calls to other family members and spent the evening with my other half, Mr. Tony.  Very relaxing.  I am so thankful for my health and the health of my family and friends.  I am thankful that my needs are met, and have faith that all is going to be well.

All items in my etsy shop are on sale through December 30th.  I have been working on some new items to add in the next few weeks.  Thank you to my friends who keep checking in on me.  Big hug.  (We now have jobs until the end of November, and it is looking good that we will get our contract in order.  Whew!  It’s not over until the fat lady sings, so come back soon to see if I am singing!)

This Monday brings me even closer to having a job or not.  I still have anxiety about our contract situation.  Will we get it back?  Will they get it?  I am going to have faith and ride it out until the final decision.  I feel that we will get it back.  My human side says to worry.  So, I will keep in mind that anything can happen and be prepared for come what may.

Labor Day.  I am so thankful to still have a job these days.  I have read articles online today about how many people are unemployed.  Very Scary!  I hope we win back our contract and continue to work for the next four years.  Am I getting too old for this?  Just keep working, just keep working.

Today I am enjoying my day off.  Surfing Etsy, of course.  Waiting for Mr. to come by and whisk me off for lunch and a trip to the art fair (looking for some good handmade soaps).

I woke up feeling very calm this morning.  Then I started to think.  Wrong thing to do.  Let go and let God is my mantra for today.  Turn the other cheek.  Just let it be.  Forgive and forget.  Move on.  Whatever it is that a person could say to just keep going – I’ll say it today and have a heart full of love.  Keep calm and carry on.

Things are boiling at work.  The guys are starting to fight amongst themselves.  We are still waiting to hear about our contract protest to see if we have jobs.  Not good for the stress levels.  I say, just breathe.

I spent a wonderful weekend in the country with my two sisters.  We had such a good time.  Drank tea, made felt softies, caught up on each others lives, enjoyed the sunshine, the peace and the quiet.  The time went by very fast.

Yea!  It’s the last work day for me!  I really look forward to the weekends!  This Friday I will be going to stay with my sister out in the country.  It is so peaceful there.  My other sister will join us Saturday and we will have a belated birthday girl party.  Fun fun fun!

Okay, now I am a happy girl.  Made it to work, double shot of espresso, turkey bacon and egg white sandwich, and sold a water bottle holder.  The Starbucks guy (kinda hunky) bought one for his wife.  Thank you!  My first sale.  He saw the one I carry in my car with the short handle and said “My wife would love one of those”!  Yippee doo!
