that whatever I post here goes to my facebook. Wonder if I said anything weird? Probably not, I usually keep it nice and clean. Everyone also gets to hear my whining and complaining about my body aging and my work woes! Ha ha ha, that’s funny.

Well it is the last day of my holiday and I am not really feeling like going to work tomorrow. It will be a short week so no real complaints are allowed! Now for something to look at while I should be doing chores. Etsy, of course. These cuties are from solocosmo.etsy.com – very cute. (sorry about the pricing at the top; no control over that. It kinda distracts from the cuteness but we can deal with it!)

I had a four day weekend this year for the holiday. It has been nice to sleep in and wake up naturally. Now, tonight, I am awake, Tuesday morning 1:35am now, and hope I can fall asleep before the sun comes up. Talk about being well rested! Hope you had a wonderful Monday. See you later.

going along to get along

Not my favorite thing to do, however, I do want to get along with others (especially at work). It is hard to do with so many complex personalities. I go along with the game for the most part, but I do have my limits. And I am very independent so I don’t like to get caught up in any one group…just sayin.

what’s a girl to do

Anyone out there have a chronic problem with property management? The upstairs tenants misuse their disposal and it is a chronic problem. I get the muck downstairs at least once a week. I have written the management several times. What’s a girl to do? It is very tiresome and not very healthy to wake up to a filthy mess from upstairs. Oh well. Such is life in a rental property. Hopefully in the next few years I can move to a newer property and find a duplex with one level (and pray for no sewer backups). Ok, living out loud…

Now for something to brighten the day and make a smile. Etsy, of course.

Must be allergies in the wind. Anyone else sniffling these days? The offices at work have been super hot (good germ breeding grounds?) I am not fond of working the front desk when everyone is sniffling and the customers are coughing at the counter….ugh! Well, that is the nature of the job. So carry on, Etsy, of course.

So glad to be with my sisters and their families today. Just took a little break to get online, let my tummy settle then go back inside to get something sweet for dessert. Yummy. Hope everyone has a happy day and can be thankful.

feelin good on Friday

This week was short for me. I took the day off Monday and took my mom to lunch. We went to Nicolette’s Cafe. Their bakery is wonderful; they added a gift shop; the cafe has been there for 7-8 years and I just now found out about it! Homemade breads, artisan tuscany-ish dishes, yum yum. Great raspberry tea. It is always fun to spend time with my mom and explore new places together.

We had a cold snap and I mean cold. Two nights were “turn up the heat” nights. I kinda like the cold weather, especially when I can snuggle under the covers and stay home.

Tomorrow I will join my friend for a morning of craft store, coffee, and crochet lessons. I have been making crocheted cowls and they have been a big hit. Maybe I could sell a few more and make some extra holiday money.

For now, how about some cute birds, etsy, of course

P.S. Is anyone else watching the Wizard of Oz tonight? Yes! When my nieces were little, they called the movie “the lizard of oz” and thought it was a scary movie. Very cute.
